Mandala Studio was commissioned to develop the strategy, name and brand for a new online insurance platform in Thailand. The name is an expression of happy emotional reactions, exuding surprise and delight. The wordmark is defined by a speech line and a raised “O”, visually emphasising the way it is spoken, applied in a contemporary, bright colour palette.
The branding supports OOHOO’s bold mission to differentiate from their competitors who still rely on phone calls by brokers. It appeals to a modern, independent audience who are not necessarily searching traditional insurance channels, they are increasingly using digital tools and services.
